Here's another one for the books. While writing (typing this), I am still shaking, choked up, teary-eyed, and just plain AWED at how God works.
There I was, quietly working on the post-payroll tasks of printing the payslip and register when my superior came over and asked to speak with me. I thought I was going to be given a lecture on the state of my attendance these past months. But, to my amazement, she asked me to photocopy my registration form for this semester because she got me a sponsor for my studies (I don't know if just for this sem but that's beside the point)! ! ! Then, if that wasn't enough, she handed me the cash, after the lady working for the sponsor saw my grades last sem. Praise God!!
The funny thing is, it was just yesterday that I called my teacher asking if I can drop the course and resume next year because I didn't think I'd have the energy to finish until March, juggling work & studies. She encouraged me not to quit and told me she understands my situation but it would be a waste of a semester if I quit now. So I agreed to continue.
And just before my superior came to talk to me, what was I worrying about? Money. I was wondering what gadgets I could sell just so I could survive the next 15 days of limited cash.
God really works in amazing ways.
Lord, when I signed up for this journey, I knew it would take a real #stepoffaith. And it has been an amazing step after step, leading me to the knowledge that You are really in control of my life and that You love me. You are to be praised! THANK YOU LORD!
